| I made this when I broke up with my boyfriend about 3 years ago lol. I was such a dramam queen.
Lifeless
All I do is walk, without emotion or pain,
happiness is slain and only depression remains.
This feeling of nothing, blank or a cease of purpose,
The act of cheering myself up only make me nervous.
I was never the one to be the center of attention,
Not even alive enough to even get mentioned.
I walk in the shadows of conformity,
Hiding this feeling comes to me normally.
The smile on my face is a withering lie,
That feeling that once was there, but now I can only deny.
Hiding in the haze of shadows is my new fantasy,
But I am only a fan to see what I use to be.
My heart has grown cold and my soul has become stone,
Nothing but a lifeless shell that wishes to be left alone. | |
